About Us
We met in August of 2003, the beginning of our 8th grade year. During that school year we became good friends and had a lot of fun together. By May of 2004, we were inseparable. Through the last four years, not only have we fallen deeper in love, but we have become best friends. We look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Dear Matthew and Amy Lynn:
Well, I decided I needed to make a comment on the fact that "The Special Event" is going to be at Grandma's House. Inside joke, We all KNOW that Grandpa lives in the Car Barn! Meagan Jeanne told us that when she was only two years old! Out of the mouth of babes, comes true wisdom!
Amy Lynn, I want to direct this next comment to you. I was pondering all the "Special Events" that have been "hosted" on our deck, in our yard and I want to mention a few, just for old times sake... Your Dad and Mom's engagement party.. end of the year parties from Liberty that include ones for you, your sister, your Dad and your Uncle Gary! Not to mention all the swim lessons, family dinners, the time when you turned the deck into a Ice Cream Parlor and you, Kelly Ann, Meagan Jeanne and Maddy Rose made and served the ice cream sundaes dressed in 50's costumes to your Dad, Uncle Gary and Grandpa, the Sunday nights when you came over and all of you totally reassembled my house so that it was some wild exotic stage made out of hundreds of blankets and table cloths where you could perform all of the plays you made up and talked all the cousins into being apart of...etc, etc, etc.. We fondly refer to this as the "party" house for good reason!
As I think back on your growing up years I remember the Little Tykes Playhouse that I bought at a garage sale and installed on the deck for you to play in... You would peek out the door or the window of the little house and smile at me with your great big smile and huge eyes! What delight fills my heart as I "think back" on those memories! Now, I "look forward" to seeing your big beautiful smile as you walk out our front door on your way to becoming Mrs. Matthew Maki!
Matthew, Now some comments for you... I am delighted that we are making memories with you at Grandma's House with camp-outs on the front lawn, quads in the back, swimming parites, family dinners as we have come to know and love you as our own grandson. I am so thankful that your Dad and Mom are having the Rehersal Dinner at our home. Another memory to treasure! Thank you for being our Grandson in the midst of many Granddaughters.. Bubby is happy to have another boy at the family dinners!
I am "looking forward" to the wonderful memory of you standing tall looking very handsome in your tuxedo waiting for Any Lynn to walk out the front door of Grandma's House and become your wife as all the people who love you both very much witness this joyous event.... :-)
I hold you both in my heart and in my prayers... Enjoy each moment! Grandma Donna
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Maki-
Your wedding was absolutely spectacular. Amy, you looked beautiful and Matthew looked like your "prince charming." Everything was perfect-
Here's to many years of good health and happiness. Stay focused on Christ and may your lives and your marriage be a testimony to all who know you.
Love,
Grandma E
